Open Day May 9th Come along and have a go!

‘AN OPPORTUNITY T0 TRY OUT SAILING’

Yeadon Sailing Club has a great history of offering a friendly family atmosphere to all those interested in sailing across the Leeds and Bradford area.

Based at Yeadon Tarn just a mile or so from the airport, visitors can not only expect a warm welcome but on our open day can –

- meet and chat with experienced sailors

- learn about how to get into the sport

and perhaps most exciting

- try out sailing for yourself.

We will have a number of boats available with expertise, full safety cover, buoyancy aids and waterproof clothing, to ensure you are well equipped for your adventure.

John Simms the club Commodore says - “Whether you have always fancied a go at sailing or would like to rekindle some of those previous sailing experiences – this opportunity has no age barriers so come along yourself or with your family on the 9th May to fulfil your dreams.”

The day launches at 10.00am and runs through to visitors being able to watch the club racing programme from 2.30pm. Come along at a time to suit you.

Although we won't intentionally try to get you wet, it is recommended that you bring suitable clothes, old trainers and something to change in to.
